Overview

On the 30th March 2009 Somerset Design Enterprise Network held a creative industries networking and debate event at the Genesis Centre, Somerset College in Taunton. The event was a great success with over 50 creative businesses attending.

The event started with an interesting presentation about the creative industries, leading on to Somerset Design Enterprise Network and other business related support and a debate on how Somerset could better engage and promote with creative businesses.

New Design Network Membership Launched

The evening event also saw the launch of the official Somerset Design Enterprise Network membership, which showed the importance of a creative industries hub and the multitude of benefits businesses and organisations can gain from becoming members. The membership is moderately priced at £99 per annum and provides a variety of services and inclusion to information that could help any creative business grow.
